Network of Friends

Connect with others and build a network of friends based on strong relationships.

developing you Personal Universe through a Creative Practice can’t be done alone.

We are social creatures and we naturally form all kinds of communities, from rock bands to gardening clubs; when we focus too much on ourselves as individuals, we lose much of what it means to be human.

  • A network of friends connected by strong relationships is fertile ground for the emergence of synergies. Synergy is the behavior of whole systems unpredicted by the behaviors of the parts, and synergies emerge when certain conditions are met: 1) parts are brought together in 2) relationships that create strong interactions. So creating a network of close friends is a way to allow for social synergies to emerge.

  • If you think of yourself as one of these parts (a whole as well) in a matrix of relationship, you can begin to see problems as imbalances in relationships rather than us against them. (Paraphrased from Charles Eisenstein, “The Coronation”)

  • A good place to start is with those you love. Look at the relationships you have with your family and close friends and work to strengthen them.

  • A strong relationship is one where there is trust.

Therefore:

Connect with other people and build strong relationships with them; create a network of strong links with your friends.

Being involved in real-world projects—Creative Practice—is a great way to connect with other people and make new friends, but it will be important that you communicate with them in a meaningful way— [[ Meaningful Communication ]]
