Abundance outline

Outline for Abundance.

1. Context
   • as you improve the world and planet around you toward Greater Livingness, you’ll be able to see ways to make them more efficient and to do more with fewer resources. This pattern discusses how this phenomenon can lead to resources being available to more people.
2. Problem
   • For almost all of human existence, there hasn’t been enough food, water, shelter and other resources for everyone to live well. This situation has been rapidly changing, but our society is still designed to deal with scarcity, and it doesn’t know what to do.

   • Forces
     • Our society, our world systems were designed to primarily handle the problems of scarcity.
   • A world where abundance is the norm is emerging and we need to develop it.
   • In creating Greater Livingness, we must look for ways to do more with less and make rivalrous goods non-rivalrous or even anti-rivalrous.
   • This is critical if we are to create a high Quality of Life For All Life.
