Seeing the global civilization

To see the Global Civilization, we need to focus on the interconnections between people, the things that connect us, rather than the boundaries that divide us. That is “the fundamental order which is native to us.” That if we look at the ways that we’re connected and interdependent, we will see that we are already trying to be one world, the crew of Spaceship Earth, and it will allow us to see how we can strengthen those connections, support even more complex interactions and bring the boundaries into balance with the whole. We are not just about boundaries and protecting our own; we are also about making sure that everyone succeeds.
