Heroes
Seek role models that teach and inspire you through their example; be a role model for others.
one of the strongest ways we learn is from example: we watch people and we copy them.
When we’re trying to learn how to live differently, we look for teachers or mentors who can guide us, but the people who might most be able to help us are also in high demand and likely don’t have time to pay a lot of attention to us or give us feedback.

We learn almost everything from watching others—language, traditions, mannerisms, values, how we treat others, how we treat ourselves, even what we want in life—so be careful about who you watch. Our roles models, our heroes matter.

One of my early heroes was Buckminster Fuller. He had died by the time I discovered his work, but I was able to read his books and books that others wrote about him and see the artifacts he left behind.
Therefore:
Seek out heroes that can teach and inspire you by example, without having to provide you with direct feedback and support. Allow yourself to be someone else’s hero by sharing your ideas and work so others can access them without you needing to provide them directly.
Choose heroes who insist that you do Your Own Thinking
