Start With Universe - Platform
I have a background in web development, so I’m able to produce and maintain my own web server and websites. I also have experience with typesetting and book production, so I should be able to provide the book in whatever condition you would like it.
I’m in the process of building a platform in support of my book. I currently have a personal/business website and blog at JimApplegate.com as well as a simple website at OpenArtifact.org. I’m building a searchable database of open artifacts projects at OpenArtifacts.com where project maintainers can submit information about their projects and creators can look for projects they want to contribute to.
I own the StartWithUniverse.com domain, but I have not built a website yet because I’m not sure if that will be the final title, nor do I have cover art or some of the other content I would need. I would imagine creating a simple website promoting the book and directing people to places to buy it. Alternatively, StartWithUniverse.com could be the home of the book’s open artifacts project, with prominent links to a section of my personal website promoting the book. We could also consider creating a site around my company name at WorldThatWorks.com.

I have social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, but I do not currently have a significant following. See my Marketing Plan for ways that I plan to improve that.
