I think my best tactic today would be to continue processing The Infinite Game by Simon Sinek because I feel like there are some fundamental things that affect my work that I need to integrate into my own thinking and writing. For the most part, I think I addressed those idea yesterday, so don’t think I’ll rehash them here.
One of the other major patterns that I need to get to a more finished state is Personal Universe. I struggled before with coming up with a solution before, but I suspect that it’s simpler then I was making it. The main point is that we have this thing—a Soloverse or Personal Universe—that affects a lot about how affective we are in dealing with the world, and we best pay some attention to it. It wraps up a lot of what we call self-improvement into a fairly easy to understand idea that we are working to clean up or strengthen our personal universe. Much of the rest of the book, especially the third section, talk about different ways we can do that.
I wonder if we need patterns that address the accuracy, flexibility, integration and comprehensiveness of our personal universe. I think I just answered that question for myself in that there is the pattern Uncertain Knowing that addresses flexibility and Rethinking that address integration and accuracy. I think overall that those general categories of improvement are addressed in the patterns. I think it would be good to talk about them in the pattern itself, and then in the post text, point to the kinds of patterns that address each challenge.
