Great Turning is still being written

Like all of the narratives, the Great Turning is still being written. There’s no guarantee that it will succeed, but it’s our best bet. I realize that’s not a very reassuring thing to say, but I think it’s important that we understand what we’re getting into. To strive for the Great Turning, to be one of the people trying to write it into reality, is to have a kind of faith. It’s a faith in the human spirit, in human ingenuity, and in the goodness of humankind. How we ended up the way we are is part of the fundamental mystery of universe, but we are an extraordinary part of our universe, and we have a right to be here.
