Globally interdependent

We are globally interdependent, like organs in a global body. What we do affects the rest of the body, and it’s in our interest to do our part to keep that body alive.

Airplanes, cell phones, container ships, pipelines, the internet, movies, trade agreements, multi-national corporations, and international organizations all connect us together. The atmosphere oceans and ecosystems also connect us in ways that ignore political borders.
