Global is local

We call a problem a regional problem, or a national problem or a global problem when the same local problems are occurring in lots of places, all at the same time. If suicides are increasing locally all around the country, we call it a national crisis. If a disease is spreading in local communities all around the world, it’s a pandemic. Sometimes, a national or global response is required, but more often than not, the national response is to get the required resources distributed so that each local place has what they need to take care of the problem. My point is that even the most global problem can be affected through local action.
